Sunday morning Israeli forces arrested the mother and brother of Omar al-Abed, the Palestinian youth responsible for the July deadly stabbing attack in the illegal Israeli settlement of Halamish located in the occupied West Bank.
According to WAFA news agency, Israeli soldiers held under arrest the mother of Omar, Ibtisam, who was released from detention only few weeks earlier after posting $3000 bail, and Khaled, Omar’s brother, after raiding their home in the village of Kobar, northwest of the city of Ramallah.
Al-Abed’s father was also arrested a few days earlier in the clashes between Palestinians and Israeli troops in Kober village.
The Palestinian village of Kobar have been under Siege by the Israeli forces who sealed its main entrances with dirt piles and cement blocks, as a collective punitive measure after Omar al-Abed, a 19-year-old village resident, stabbed and killed three Israeli settlers and seriously injured a fourth after infiltrating into the illegal settlement of Halamish, west of Ramallah on July 21.
