On Thursday, Google and it’s fellow company “Jesgo”, launched a new technology which helps news organizations and online platforms to monitor abusive comments on their websites.
This technology is named the “perspective”. It will review comments and evaluate them based on their similarity with other comments which users consider it as “paltry”. The new technique has been tested on “New York Times” website. The two companies hope to expand its use to other news and press institutions such as the “The Guardian”, “The Economist”, and also other websites. The new technology can be developed in the future by trying to monitor personal attacks and irrelevant comments too. This technique might be provided in languages other than English.
