In addition, the Russian representatives in the Russian-Turkish commission on the Syrian truce have registered a total of six ceasefire violations in Syria during the past 24 hours, while Turkey has detected about five cases.

The last day has also seen the Russian military carry out two humanitarian operations in Syria’s in the Aleppo and Homs provinces, delivering 16.9 tonnes of humanitarian aid. In addition, Russia has provided 336 individuals with medical assistance.

Russia and Turkey are the guarantors of the nationwide ceasefire in Syria, which has been in the grip of a civil war for over six years.
