The Israeli army and the Shin Bet (Shabak) arrested 16 Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank at night.
An Israeli army spokesman claimed that The army also seized a weapon and thousands of shekels which were supposed to support operations.
A statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society said that Israeli soldiers stormed the cities of Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, Tubas and Salfit and arrested the citizens.
In the al-Khader town of the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained five Palestinians; they were identified as Ahmad Odeh Issa, Mussab Abu Aamus, Wajdi Moussa, Karam Sbeih and Muhammad Midhat Issa.
In the same district, two Palestinians were detained from Bethlehem City and identified as Muhammad Khalid al-Sheikh and Rami Salim al-Rafati.
In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, Israeli forces detained another four Palestinians; they were identified as Luay Taysir Dweikat, Abdullah Walid Khreiwish, Taha al-Titi, and former prisoner Ahmad Amer Nassar.
Names of other detainees were not immediately identified.
Dozens of soldiers also invaded Abu Shkheidim village, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades at protesters, who hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at the armored military jeeps.
Clashes also broke out in the northern West Bank district of Nablus.
