Israeli army Minister Avigdor Lieberman submit an offer to Hamas, including not only the opening of the Kerem Abu Salem crossing to the movement of goods, but also returning the fishing space as it had previously been, in exchange for maintaining calm.

Lieberman during an inspection tour at the Kerem Salem crossing with the Director General of the army Ministry, Audi Adam and the so-called coordinator of the Israeli Government’s work in the areas of Kameel Abu-Abbar said: ” Now we have completed an assessment of the situation regarding the introduction of goods to the Gaza Strip, to understand that if there are balloons and fires on our side, life will not return to normal on the other side.

“Yesterday we saw the most tranquil days since the last 30 March, and if the situation continues today and tomorrow, we will be working at the Kerem Salem crossing on Tuesday as usual and also restore the fishing space allowed to the fishermen of the strip as before,” Lieberman pointed out.

He added: “to reopen the crossing and expand the fishing area; the Gazans must be calm by stop flaming balloons and kits, contacting on the borders, and releasing missiles”.
